Vertical pile reinforcement extends fifteen inches into the mat slab with additional bottom bars provided on either side in both directions. A horizontal construction joint between the pile cap and slab is roughened to a one-quarter-inch amplitude. Top of concrete elevation is set at eleven feet zero inches with a slab depth of two feet six inches. Reinforcement includes number eight bars at twelve inches on center outside the pile cap along with number eight slab reinforcement sized per plan with standard development lengths.
