A wide-flange girt frames into an HSS jamb via a structural angle bracket. The L4x4x1/2 by 1'-0" bracket connects to the girt web using two 3/4" diameter ASTM A325-SC slip-critical bolts, with fillet welds specified at 1/4" size at four inches spacing. A continuous 1/2" bent plate attaches behind the wall panel. The HSS jamb connects with a typical 3/16" fillet weld. Wall panels are supported as detailed on architectural drawings.
