Typical roof joists receive structural reinforcement consisting of an additional diagonal web member sized at L2x2x3/16-inch minimum. This extra web member accommodates concentrated loads up to 100 pounds maximum applied at the joist top chord. Dimension callouts indicate spacing requirements greater than six inches from existing panel points.
