This assembly features a shear wall framed with wood studs and sheathing as specified per the framing elevation and plan. The wall is anchored to a hollow structural section (HSS) member, which is sized per the framing elevation. Connection is achieved via 3/4-inch diameter Grade 36 threaded studs welded to the HSS member at 10 inches on center. The wall frame and sheathing are installed according to the framing elevation and plan requirements.
