This structural detail shows buckling-restrained braces connected to a column web above a beam intersection. A gusset plate with a one-half inch radius cope is welded to the column flange using complete joint penetration welds on three sides. Continuity plates matching the column flange thickness are welded at the beam and brace locations. The assembly includes beam stubs sized per plan and requires reference to detail one for additional installation information.
