An eight-inch concrete curb bears on a concrete slab and concrete-encased steel beam assembly, reinforced with two number four continuous bars at the top and number four continuous bars spaced at twelve inches on center for curbs greater than twelve inches tall. A welded one-half-inch diameter deformed bar anchor is spaced at eighteen inches on center. The maximum height is four feet six inches per architectural drawings, with a slab edge extending a maximum of one foot six inches and a ten-inch maximum dimension.
