A square concrete footing is centered on orthogonal grid lines with footing width and length sized per the structural schedule. A concrete or steel column rests at the center of the footing per the foundation plan. Footing reinforcement consists of a two-way orthogonal grid of reinforcing bars spaced throughout the pad. Reinforcement sizes and spacing are specified in the footing schedule.
