A concrete curb separates a vehicle ramp from an ADA pedestrian ramp, anchored with continuous reinforcing bars and vertical dowels. A steel pipe handrail inserts into a two-inch diameter pipe sleeve set within the curb, secured by a three-inch by three-inch by quarter-inch plate welded to the sleeve. The concrete slab features two continuous number five reinforcing bars at the curb junction, while the twelve-inch wide curb base includes number four bars at twelve inches on center continuous and eighteen inches on center transverse. A note specifies maintaining a curb height of six inches above the higher side.
