The surrounding concrete footing is reinforced with twenty-two number six C-bars equally spaced. The steel beam to moment frame column connection incorporates a fifty ksi web plate matching the beam web thickness plus one-eighth inch by four inches with three seven-eighths inch diameter erection bolts. Five-sixteenths inch fillet welds with one-inch returns and complete joint penetration welds at the top and bottom flanges secure the structural steel members, incorporating standard weld access holes per AISC 360.
