Reinforcing configuration for a jamb opening in a tilt-up concrete wall panel. Vertical and horizontal reinforcement are sized per the specific panel types, with wall pier ties spaced at a maximum of six inches on center. Additional number three C-shaped ties are provided above and below the opening to manage stress concentrations. The jamb width and panel leg dimensions are determined by the architectural drawings. Development lengths for reinforcement are indicated as Ld and Ldh, with typical lintel reinforcement provided at the top of the opening.
