Steel beams connect to a central hollow structural section column using a continuous steel knife plate. The hollow structural section column features a slot cut as required to receive the knife plate passing through its profile. Steel beams frame into the assembly sized per plan and secure to the knife plate with vertical bolts. The hollow structural section column size is selected per plan.
