A concrete slab transition occurs at Level 1 with a plaza level variable elevation, supported by a wide flange W36 steel beam. Lost formwork is utilized beneath the slab edge. Welded connections connect steel elements with three-sixteenths inch welds spaced at two feet six inches staggered.
