A galvanized steel fall arrest post with a base plate connects to a welded half-inch steel mounting plate featuring a thermal spacer on each side, anchored to a structural steel beam sized per structural engineering requirements. Mineral wool insulation infills the post assembly. A forged eye and U-bar connect to the top of the post per the manufacturer specifications. The roof membrane flashing extends up the post and seals to the EPDM roof using lap sealant.
