An L4x4x3/8 angle kicker connects to an HSS6x6 structural post via a 1/4" by 6" by 6" gusset plate centered on the post. The gusset plate and angle are secured with 3/16" fillet welds. The working point aligns with the centerlines of the intersecting members.
