An embed plate measuring three-eighths by fourteen inches by one foot six inches is cast into the underside of a post-tensioned concrete slab or beam, secured with four three-quarter-inch diameter by four-inch headed studs. The wall top features a bond beam connected via L4x3x5/16 angles welded with typical three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on each side. A typical top-of-wall gap is maintained below the slab underside. Per drawing notes, this connection assembly may alternatively be used at mild concrete slabs or beams at the contractor's option.
