A steel hollow structural section girt connects to a steel wide flange girt using four-inch by four-inch by one-quarter-inch angles and seven-eighth-inch diameter bolts. A five-inch by five-inch by one-quarter-inch plate attaches to the bottom of the hollow structural section girt. One-quarter-inch fillet welds secure the connection assembly. Exterior insulated metal panels align with the exterior face of the framing.
