A steel column connects to a concrete wall and footing assembly using a ten by three-eighths by twelve inch embed plate secured by four three-quarter inch diameter by six inch HSA anchor bolts with a one-quarter inch fillet weld. The concrete wall features vertical and horizontal reinforcing with continuous top and bottom reinforcing bars, anchored to a concrete footing with three inches of clearance. The concrete slab on grade terminates with standard hooks at the exterior wall junction where the surface is roughened to one-quarter inch amplitude.
