A circular hollow section gravity column connects to a thirty-two millimeter base plate secured by four M20 grade 8.8 cast-in anchor bolts placed to clear the grade beam reinforcing. A ten millimeter fillet weld connects the base plate to the column, which features twelve millimeter diameter vent holes on each side kept unobstructed. The base plate rests above a concrete grade beam with slab and reinforcement detailed per plan.
