A forty-eight inch diameter Sonotube form or similar is provided as required by the contractor, surrounded by a one-inch void space typical all around. Two inches of compressible material is positioned beneath the structural mat or pile cap. Reinforcement for both the drilled shaft and the mat or pile cap is omitted from this view.
