A metal stud framed wall bears on a concrete floor with a minimum thickness of four and one-half inches. A steel floor runner with one and one-quarter inch flanges connects to the concrete slab using zero point one five seven inch powder actuated fasteners spaced at twelve inches on center. A fire rated sealant designated as sealant B4-1 fills the joint up to a maximum three-quarter inch gap.
