Concrete over metal deck bears on a supporting steel beam with a continuous number four reinforcing bar running along the edge. Deck welding is provided per plan specifications with a three-quarter inch chamfer at the slab edge. Metal deck per plan continues adjacent with side lap connections per plan. A note requires two inches of minimum bearing on the beam for each deck.
