A hollow structural section jamb connects to a foundation via a 1/2-inch by 10-inch by 1-foot-10-inch base plate secured with anchor bolts. A 1-inch grout layer sits beneath the base plate over the concrete stem wall and foundation. Damp-pack grout is applied per specification S-510 around the base assembly adjacent to the CMU wall sized per plan.
