A roof deck per plan bears over a structural steel beam supported by a concrete masonry unit wall with typical bond beams and vertical reinforcing. A half-inch thick plate matching the flange width is welded to the support with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds near side and far side. A build-up plate per sheet S-507 is provided at the exterior edge alongside an edge detail. Wall panels per architectural drawings A-351 through A-353 attach to the exterior face of the masonry assembly.
