A closure strip occurs between a post-tensioned concrete slab and a mild concrete slab. The assembly incorporates typical number 6 reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center minimum unless otherwise noted per plan. A typical tendon and tendon anchor are embedded within the post-tensioned slab edge. A slab sealant joint is detailed at the top surface between the slabs.
