A typical full depth connection plate assembly welded to a wide flange column or beam. Connection plates are welded to the web and flanges using three-eighths inch fillet welds as specified, with corner clips sized according to standard AISC dimensions plus one-half inch. The plate dimensions maintain a specified radius between one-half inch minimum and two inches maximum. Additional welds follow requirements per other project details.
