The steel stringer bears upon a three-by-three by one-quarter inch angle anchored to the concrete slab. Three-quarter inch diameter by eight-inch long anchor bolts secure the assembly typically at each stringer location. A three-sixteenth inch fillet weld attaches the connection on three sides as indicated. The slab on grade features a thickened footing profile measuring two feet wide typically beneath the stair support.
