A hollow structural section column connects to a one-half-inch thick embed plate welded with a five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld. The embed plate is anchored using six three-quarter-inch diameter by four-and-a-half-inch long headed studs spaced at two inches typical. Top of concrete is located per plan.
