A cold-formed steel stud drop assembly attached to a metal deck floor system. The 362S162-54 stud drop is centered at the lower deck flute and anchored with Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners embedded a minimum of one and one-quarter inches at six inches on center. The 362T125-54 track is secured with number eight sheet metal screws to each stud on each side. Additional framing utilizes 362S162-54 studs spaced at twenty-four inches on center, requiring no additional bridging or bracing unless otherwise noted. Hanger connections are stabilized with two number eight sheet metal screws at the mid-point and four number eight sheet metal screws at each end hanger, maintaining a two-inch minimum typical clearance.
