A five-eighth inch by eighteen inch blunt tipped solid copper air terminal connects to a continuous class two copper potential equalization loop via an exothermic weld. A class two copper down conductor ties into the loop using typical exothermic welds and is mounted to insulated metal panels using 'L' brackets with mechanical cable holders. All installations must follow FAA-STD-019G with a minimum bend radius on conductors of eight inches, and all cable connections must be exothermically welded.
