This assembly features a diagonal brace connected to a column and beam junction via a gusset plate of thickness T. The gusset plate is welded to the column flange and provides a mounting surface for the brace, which is secured with two bolts. The beam-to-column connection is referenced to the project elevation drawings for specific detailing. The top of steel elevation is indicated relative to the beam flange.
