A wood stud corner post is secured with four 16d-short nails at each end of the top plate connection. Anchor bolts at the base of the wall follow size and spacing requirements per detail 1/S601. Anchor bolts are placed at a maximum spacing of 48 inches on center along the wall length. At the corner, the anchor bolt is located a maximum of 10 inches from the end of the wall, maintaining a minimum 1-inch edge distance from the stud face.
