An inverted V-braced frame concentric junction connects buckling-restrained braces to a steel column and continuous beams. The connection features gusset plates with a chamfer per the manufacturer, twelve-millimeter web stiffeners on each side of the web typically, and twenty-millimeter stiffeners with ten-millimeter fillet welds around the workpoint. Beams connect to the column with ten-millimeter fillet welds and include adjacent bolted beam splice connections. Buckling-restrained brace and pin connections are provided by others below the fifty-millimeter clearance zone. Gusset plate thickness and welds are designed per the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer with reference to tables on sheet S2.0.
