An existing retaining wall foundation bears upon a 1x12x12 steel bearing plate supported by two 1x12x12 vertical steel support plates welded to the column. A two to three-inch gap between the foundation and the bearing plate is filled with high strength non-shrink grout applied as dry pack. The assembly is field verified for elevation prior to installation.
