A hollow structural section girt connects to a reinforced concrete tilt-up wall panel using top and bottom structural angles measuring 4x4x3/8 inches and sized to the beam width minus one inch. The angles are welded to the top and bottom of the HSS girt with one-quarter inch fillet welds on three sides featuring one-inch returns. The connection is embedded into or anchored against the tilt-up panel with cast-in studs.
