This connection assembly consists of a 6.35 mm thick by 126 mm wide by 220 mm long steel plate welded to a 6.35 mm thick by 50 mm wide by 220 mm long steel plate using a typical 5 mm fillet weld. The wider plate features a 15x45 degree chamfer at two corners and three pre-drilled holes, including one 6 mm diameter hole and two holes to be drilled on assembly to suit. All steel components are specified as CSA G40.21 300W grade material.
