This assembly connects a wide-flange beam to a tilt-up concrete panel at a joint condition where the beam is closer than ten inches to the panel joint. A three-quarter-inch thick by twenty-two-inch by twenty-eight-inch steel plate is welded to the embed with a five-sixteenths-inch fillet weld. The beam connects to this plate per the beam connection schedule on sheet S002. Six seven-eighths-inch diameter threaded studs are installed in two-inch horizontally slotted holes within the embed, positioned at the center of the embed and on the opposite side of the panel joint from the joist to allow for movement.
