An offset steel beam framing connection joins a supported steel beam to a supporting WT5x22.5 or WT7x26.5 structural tee section cut to fit the beam per plan. The connection uses a single plate shear tab welded to the support with no slotted holes. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch size are specified on two sides or three sides as indicated. The top of the supported beam elevation varies per plan, with details shown for both carried beam lower and carried beam higher conditions.
