Joists sized per plan span across a framing opening up to 30 inches maximum, supported by joist hangers at each end. A 3x wood ledger matches the joist depth and fastens to an existing unreinforced masonry wall using 3/4-inch diameter epoxy-set threaded rods spaced at 32 inches on center with Simpson BP plate washers. The threaded rods anchor the ledger into the masonry wall while supporting the joist hanger assembly.
