An eighteen-gauge sill angle is cut to the stud width minus one-eighth of an inch and secured with four number ten screws into the stud and four number ten screws into the sill. Use six screws in six-inch studs and eight screws in eight-inch studs. The vertical studs and bottom track bear on a concrete slab and are sized per the wall and sill schedules.
