Ceiling suspension wires hang from existing two-by-six wood rafters spaced across an eight-foot span, supporting an underlying T-bar ceiling grid. Vertical suspension wires attach directly to the underside of the rafters using threaded eye bolts or screw-in anchors. An intermediate wire is designated for use only at two-by-six rafters, located between the exterior framing supports. End support wires incorporate coil-spring vibration isolators or turnbuckles anchored through the framing members. Horizontal and vertical dimensions establish a two-foot spacing interval from the exterior supports to the first interior suspension drops.
