A half-inch steel plate connects to a hollow structural section via a one-quarter-inch fillet weld configured with three-inch welds spaced at twelve inches. The plate extends a maximum of six inches to support a brick veneer referenced from architectural drawings. The hollow structural section is referenced from the structural elevations.
