The BP-1 detail shows a square column base plate measuring 1'-4" by 1'-4" with a 3/4" thick plate and a 1'-1" square anchor bolt pattern. The BP-2 detail features a larger 2'-6" by 3'-8" base plate with a 1 1/2" thick plate and a 3/4" thick through-plate welded to the column. The column is welded to the base plate with 3/16" fillet welds on both sides, while the through-plate connection utilizes 3/8" fillet welds. Column sizes are to be verified per the structural plans.
