A reinforced concrete beam assembly features four continuous number ten bottom bars along the span. Four number eight bars provide additional longitudinal reinforcement. Two number six bars measuring five feet long are placed typically at each side on both the top and bottom. Number five stirrups are spaced at eight inches on center along the entire length of the beam.
