A stair channel stringer bears on a PTFE surface slide bearing pad measuring one-half inch by six inches by two feet zero inches. The slide pad sits atop a three-eighths-inch by fourteen-inch by two-foot-zero-inch embed plate secured with six one-half-inch diameter by three-inch headed studs. An L4x4xone-quarter-inch by zero-foot-eight-inch angle connects to the backside of the channel stringer web with a one-eighth-inch gap, left unwelded to the channel stringer per the drawing note.
