The stair stringer bears onto an L3x3x1/4 by 4-inch angle connection secured to the concrete slab on grade and footing. A 3/4-inch diameter expansion bolt extends through a 2-inch long-slotted hole in the angle to allow for movement. The stair stringer connects to the angle via a 1/4-inch fillet weld. The concrete footing and slab dimensions are sized per structural schedules and plans.
