A structural steel column base plate is detailed in plan and section, supported by anchor rods located at each corner with typical oversize holes and washers per the column schedule. A five-sixteenths inch fillet weld secures the column to the base plate, with exceptions noted at the column k-area. A two-inch diameter grout hole is positioned centrally within the web of the wide flange column. Clearances and edge distances are explicitly dimensioned, including a one-inch clearance and symmetrical spacing.
