Additional reinforcing bars measuring number four by six feet at twenty-four inches on center are layered into the upper reinforcing mat of the concrete slab directly over the structural steel girder. The metal deck and concrete slab are sized per plan and supported by the girder, maintaining a three-quarter inch clearance per general notes. Chair reinforcing is provided as required, with lifting of reinforcing during the pour strictly prohibited.
