A hollow structural section column bears on a steel base plate secured by anchor bolts embedded into a reinforced concrete footing. The footing sits atop a six-inch compacted aggregate base with dimensions determined per the column footing schedule. Reinforcement within the footing is provided as specified in the schedule.
