A concrete housekeeping pad sits atop a structural slab with a minimum height and anchor rod placement sized per the mechanical, electrical, or architectural requirements. The structural slab surface is bonded or roughened when the pad is poured separately. Reinforcing steel consists of number four bars spaced at ten inches each way, with two number four bars minimum, and additional number four bars for pads twelve inches in height or greater. Anchor rods are provided as required by the equipment supplier.
