Welded wire fabric is installed in flat sheets set one inch below the top of the slab using 6/6-W2.0xW2.0 wire unless otherwise noted. Sections A-A and B-B illustrate the required layering sequence at slab intersections and midspan splices. Wire sheets are lapped tip-to-tip consisting of one mesh plus two-inch ends. Splices are positioned at the midspan of the deck slab as indicated in the typical notes.
